Shenendehowa was the 10-2 winner over Niskayuna when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Plainsmen fell 8-4 to the Silver Warriors on Monday. The Plainsmen's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Shenendehowa saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Prenderville, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. Another was Peyton Marszalek, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.

Shenendehowa's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Niskayuna, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Coming up, Shenendehowa will head out to square off against Saratoga Springs at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Plainsmen's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Streaks have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Niskayuna, they will be playing at home against Ballston Spa at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
