It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Michael had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the TMI-Episcopal Panthers as they made off with a 59-33 win. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Michael's to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sugeeth Jinkal, who to rack up 11 points and six rebounds. That's the most points Jinkal has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Bo Ogden, who had 16 points and six boards.
St. Michael's smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in three consecutive games.
St. Michael's pushed their record up to 30-4 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.3 points. As for TMI-Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.
Coming up, St. Michael's will challenge Antonian Prep at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
