Leading Hay Springs to victory were Mya Turman and Gabby Twarling. Turman scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals, while Twarling scored 28 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Twarling has scored at least 25% of Hay Springs' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Russell, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Banner County struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Hay Springs racked up 11 assists.
Hay Springs is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Banner County, they bumped their record down to 1-9 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
