The win bumped Pine Prairie's record up to 2-3. The defeat dropped Port Barre's record to 2-3.
Pine Prairie will stay at home next week against Mamou at 7:00 PM. Mamou took a loss in their last contest and are no doubt out to reverse Pine Prairie's good fortune. Port Barre will be playing at home against Eunice at at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
