After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central Cabarrus, the Robinson Bulldogs were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They came out on top against West Rowan by a score of 71-64. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Robinson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brian Rowe out in front who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Da'montre Harlee, who scored 16 points.
Robinson's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for West Rowan, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Robinson's road trip will continue as they head out to face Combine Academy Global at 2:00 p.m. on January 20th. Combine Academy Global is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. West Rowan won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Lake Norman Charter at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Hopefully Lake Norman Charter focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Wednesday.
