South Whidbey won the last time they faced Granite Falls and things went their way on Friday too. The South Whidbey Falcons walked away with a 51-39 win over the Granite Falls Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

South Whidbey has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Granite Falls, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the South Whidbey Falcons duke it out with the Overlake Owls at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Overlake has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Granite Falls has already played their next game (against Northwest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
