Walton is a perfect 4-0 against Marietta since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Walton Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Marietta Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. Walton is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Walton who was credited with the win on Tuesday. Walton got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Pope's two.

Marietta is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Woodstock on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 2-1. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Blue Devils couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Rachel Barrau, who's now up to three this season.

Marietta now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Walton, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Everything went Walton's way against Marietta in their previous meeting back in March of 2022, as Walton made off with a 7-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Walton since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
