Even though the Daniel Boone Trailblazers scored an imposing 61 points on Friday, the Sullivan East Patriots still came out on top. Sullivan East secured a 65-61 W over Daniel Boone. This was payback for Sullivan East, who suffered a 88-51 loss the last time these two teams met.
Sullivan East had a senior duo take command as Drake Fisher scored 23 points along with 6 rebounds and Tyler Cross scored 16 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Fisher has scored at least 25% of Sullivan East's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Ridlehuber, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
Sullivan East is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Daniel Boone, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
