Those five rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Johnny Slawinski was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Florence's defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-10. As for Johnson City, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Florence came up short against Johnson City in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 44-36. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Slawinski, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
