Clawson has won three straight games at home, while Shrine Catholic has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Trojans will host the Knights at 4:30 p.m. Clawson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.
On Tuesday, Clawson made easy work of Ferndale and carried off a 13-3 victory. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by eight runs or more this season.

Shane Dunlap was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out 13 batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Those 13 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Elliott Groves was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Jackson Hein, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.
Clawson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.3 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 9.4.
Meanwhile, Shrine Catholic earned a 4-1 win over Lutheran Northwest on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won three in a row.
Sean Murphy spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Caydin Barbato, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
Clawson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Shrine Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 18-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Clawson has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Shrine Catholic struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
