If the Innovations International Ambassadors were riding high off their 62-30 takedown of the American Heritage Academy Patriots last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Innovations International ended up on the wrong side of a rough 66-45 walloping at the hands of Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon on Thursday. It was the first time this season that Innovations International let down their fans at home.
Among those leading the charge was Shane Stock, who scored 16 points. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Burks, who scored 11 points.
Innovations International's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3. As for Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Innovations International will square off against Mountain View Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon won't have much time to rest: their next match is against The Meadows School at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. One thing working in The Meadows School's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matches.
