Laurel put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the East Helena Vigilantes get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Locomotives also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2025.
Adrienne Roth made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double.
In other batting news, Emerson Gunther was a standout: she got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Bella Mares, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
