Little Elm hadn't done well against Lake Dallas recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Lobos walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Falcons. The Lobos were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Falcons, so the Lobos were just returning the favor.

Little Elm not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Lake Dallas between 16 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16.

Little Elm's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-5. As for Lake Dallas, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Coming up, Little Elm will take on Memorial at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Lake Dallas, they are taking a road trip to take on Newman Smith at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
