The Marcellus Mustangs will head out on the road to  challenge  the Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Marcellus is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
 Last Thursday,  in a tight  game that could have gone either way, Marcellus made off with  a  29-28 win over Solvay. Given the Mustangs' advantage  in MaxPreps' New York football rankings  (they are ranked 189th, while the Bearcats are ranked 405th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Meanwhile, Bishop Ludden hadn't done well against Skaneateles recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Saturday. Bishop Ludden managed  a  41-37 victory over Skaneateles. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Gaelic Knights.
  Jahbari Clarke was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 164 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of  Darius Mitchell, who rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
 He was just one part of a punishing run game: Bishop Ludden was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 324  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 168  rushing yards in three consecutive  matches.
 Marcellus' record now sits at 5-0. As for Bishop Ludden, their record now sits at 2-3.
 Marcellus didn't have too much breathing room in their  matchup against Bishop Ludden  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2019, but they still walked away with  a  34-28 win.
