The Immokalee Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They suffered a tough 64-38 defeat at the hands of Estero. Immokalee has struggled against the Wildcats recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Estero found their leader in underclassman Amiya Lewis, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which Lewis has scored at least a third of Estero's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Arlene De Jesus, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Immokalee has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season. As for Estero, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10.
Immokalee and the Tigers will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Dunbar is out to stop a eight-game streak of losses at home. As for Estero, they will take on the Manta Rays at TBD on Monday.
