On Tuesday, New Life Christian Academy suffered a tough 65-45 loss at the hands of Chilton Christian Academy. New Life Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Chilton Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Milly Avery, who scored six points along with 14 rebounds and four steals. Avery has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Calloway, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
New Life Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chilton Christian Academy, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Life Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Victory Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th. As for Chilton Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Glen Iris Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
