Bishop Sullivan Catholic (Virginia Beach, Va.) defeated Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, Va.) 62-6 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a two-point conversion in the first quarter, the Crusaders led 54-8 at the half.
With the win Bishop Sullivan Catholic extended its winning streak to nine games. Bishop Sullivan Catholic defeated Greenbrier Christian Academy 45-18 last week.
Bishop Sullivan Catholic's most effective player was
Liam Korka. The senior wide receiver ran for two touchdowns and caught two touchdowns.
Hampton Roads Academy's only touchdown came on a defensive touchdown in the first quarter.
Led by Kamara, the Virginia Beach school entered the contest giving up 22.0 points per game this year. The defense really stepped up, holding the Navigators well below their season average of 35.8 points scored per game.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 40-0 win for Bishop Sullivan Catholic.
Hampton Roads Academy (5-4) will play a VISFA Tidewater game against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy next week, while Bishop Sullivan Catholic (9-0) will take on Norfolk Academy also in a VISFA Tidewater game.
