The Polytech Panthers won the last time they met up with the Sussex Central Golden Knights, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. On Tuesday, Polytech secured a 44-39 W over Sussex Central. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with three in a row now.
Polytech's victory brought them up to 11-7. Sussex Central's loss pushed them down to 10-7.
Polytech will be hunkering down at home again for their matchup against Smyrna Friday. Polytech has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency. Sussex Central will take on Cape Henlopen on Thursday at home. The Golden Knights will really need to gear up for this challenge, as Cape Henlopen will be their toughest opponent yet.
