The West Seneca West Indians kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a serious blow against Fredonia, falling 69-34. West Seneca West was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-18.
Fredonia got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mike Hahn out in front who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and 3 assists. Davion White was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
West Seneca West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Fredonia, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
West Seneca West will head out on the road to face off against Akron at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fredonia, they will take on Lackawanna at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
