 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  David Fath, who  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Noah Smith, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with  an  RBI.
 On Holy Redeemer's side,  Cody Quaglia made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alex Gordon, who  went 1-for-4 with four  RBI and a  stolen base.
 Wyoming Area pushed their record up to 10-8 with that  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home. As for Holy Redeemer, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 13-5.
