Riverside found their leader in underclassman Ava Ward, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 17 rebounds. Laila Campbell was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Lincoln County has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Riverside, their win bumped their record up to 2-8.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Lincoln County have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 28.3 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Riverside, though, as they've been averaging only 35.5 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
