There's no need to mince words: Palmetto Ridge lost to Naples last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-42. Palmetto Ridge were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-33.
Meanwhile, Immokalee have had to suffer through a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were fully in charge, breezing past Cypress Lake 55-20. Immokalee were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Palmetto Ridge took a serious blow against Immokalee the last time the two teams met, falling 28-63. Can Palmetto Ridge avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
