Model came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Devils also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

While Model won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22.

Model's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Model and Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe will both be playing Dade County the next time they take the court. The Blue Devils will head out to face the Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
