It was another big night for Karsen Cherry, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for her. Nora Jenkins was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Tuscola's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Enka, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tuscola will challenge Franklin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Tuscola in North Carolina (Franklin is ranked 203rd, while Tuscola is ranked 439th). As for Enka, they will head out on the road to face off against Pisgah at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pisgah and Enka are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
