Corona is 0-10 against King since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Corona Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the King Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Corona unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Norco by a score of 67-65. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Corona in their matchups with Norco: they've now lost seven in a row.
Meanwhile, King's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their sixth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 70-44 walloping at the hands of Rancho Verde. Corona's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-6. As for King, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.
Corona came up short against King when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 68-60. Can Corona avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
