The third road game was the charm for the Nordonia Knights, as they earned their first road win of the season. They walked away with a 40-30 victory over Streetsboro on Saturday. That's another feather in the cap for Nordonia, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Several Rockets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jackson Gula, who scored 9 points along with 12 rebounds.
The victory got Nordonia back to even at 2-2. As for Streetsboro, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nordonia will challenge Hudson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hudson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Nordonia in Ohio (Hudson is ranked 77th, while Nordonia is ranked 309th). As for Streetsboro, they will head out on the road to face off against Ravenna at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
