Adamson (Dallas, Texas) trailed
Seagoville (Dallas, Texas) by 17 points at one time, but managed to come all the way back and secure a 28-23 victory on Saturday.
The Dragons pulled ahead on a touchdown run by
Traevon Payne, and subsequently went into halftime leading 17-14. The Leopards scored the winning points with a rushing touchdown that came in the third quarter.
Adamson was ahead by as much as 11 before Seagoville pulled closer.
Charleston Hooker played well for SHS. The junior wide receiver ran for one touchdown.
AHS's standout player in the win was
Michael Griffith. The junior running back ran for two touchdowns.
The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which the Dragons took, 29-8.
With the win the Leopards extended their winning streak to four games.
In a 4A Region II District 11 game next week Adamson (4-0) takes on Carter, and Seagoville (1-3) will go up against Molina also in a 4A Region II District 11 game.
