14 must be Tenino's lucky number: they beat Hoquiam with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Beavers didn't even let the Grizzlies on the board, marking the Beavers' second-straight 14-0 shutout. Considering the Beavers have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Tenino got a massive performance out of Jack Burkhardt, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases Burkhardt has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Feltus, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Tenino is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Hoquiam, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tenino will welcome Adna at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their 20th straight victory, something the Beavers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hoquiam, they will host Ilwaco at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Grizzlies will need to watch out since the Fishermen have now posted at least ten runs in their last five contests.
