Blountstown is 7-2 against Bozeman since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Blountstown Tigers will welcome the Bozeman Bucks at 2:15 p.m. Blountstown is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.
Last Monday, Blountstown strolled past Holmes County with points to spare, taking the game 58-44. The Tigers pushed the score to 50-30 by the end of the third, a deficit the Blue Devils cut but never quite recovered from.

Blountstown found their leader in sophomore Curtis Ellis, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten boards. The contest was Ellis' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Cyion Smith, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 13 points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Blountstown smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in five consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Bozeman beat Freeport 65-58 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bucks.
Blountstown better focus on containing Jamie Hernandez and Cash Zirkle as the pair were huge in Bozeman's win. Hernandez went 7 for 10 en route to 21 points and seven boards, while Zirkle went 8 of 17 on his way to 23 points and five assists. The dominant performance also gave Zirkle a new career-high in blocks (two). Zac Flitcraft was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.
Bozeman has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Blountstown, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Blountstown has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 30.3 boards per game. However, it's not like Bozeman struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.6 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Blountstown didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Bozeman when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 70-66 victory.
