Allison Lui was dynamite on Friday, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her 11th in a row with two or fewer walks. This season, she has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 0.62 over 79.1 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.439/0.472/0.712 with 20 RBI.

Coming up, Lui and Notre Dame will venture away from home to face off against Terra Nova at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sadly, Lui's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Notre Dame's three-game streak of wins on the road.
