Worthington Kilbourne's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Oliviah Wilkerson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, and Reagan Wilkinson who scored eight points along with four steals. Wilkerson has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played.
Westerville South's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Deziah Dupree, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cirrye White, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Worthington Kilbourne's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 6-7. As for Westerville South, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.
Worthington Kilbourne will be playing at home against Olentangy Orange at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westerville South won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Unioto at 12:00 p.m. on January 13th.
