Westview's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They suffered a rough 68-47 loss at the hands of Benson. Westview lost against Benson in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 57-48 score last time.
Marion Henderson and Kalyn Bailey certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Henderson scored 12 points along with three steals, while Bailey scored ten points. Stella Williams was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Westview has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Benson, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
