A Season-Best Effort from Trace Kopper Leads Cimarron over Southwestern Heights
Cimarron was led to victory by Trace Kopper, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Kopper rushed for 156 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, and also threw for 161 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. Cimarron is 2-1 when Kopper posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise.

On Friday, Cimarron got the W thanks in part to McCoy Nash playing the best football he has all season. Nash rushed for 171 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries.

The second Holcomb player making an appearance here is Keegan Johnson, and for good reason. He rushed for 29 yards and two touchdowns.
