After only seven points in their last matchup, The Angleton Wildcats made sure to put some points up on the board against the Fort Bend Kempner Cougars on Friday. Angleton simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Fort Bend Kempner 48-6 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-0.
The critical scores for Angleton came from Elijah Simmons, Jaqualen Alexander, and Bryce Duron.
Angleton's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB 5.5 times. Fort Bend Kempner's QB won't forget Amayas Martinez anytime soon given Martinez sacked him six times.
Angleton's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Fort Bend Kempner, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Angleton will square off against Ball at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ball has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 516 points over their last eight matchups. Fort Bend Kempner does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
