The University Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a rough 50-29 loss at the hands of Westchester. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points University has scored all season.
University's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Isaac Soakai, who scored nine points, and Syrus Azarbarzin who scored seven points along with two steals.
University has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season. As for Westchester, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. University will take on Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Westchester, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Crenshaw at 5:00 p.m. on January 27th. Crenshaw is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
