San Tan Charter found their leader in underclassman Peyton Lubash, who scored 21 points along with three steals. The matchup was Lubash's 16th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jase Benjamin, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
San Tan Charter is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Arete Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.
San Tan Charter won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Veritas Prep at 7:00 p.m. on January 3rd.
