At the plate, Seton Catholic got a massive performance out of Chase Ries, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Mulligan, who went 3-for-5 with four stolen bases and three runs.
Seton Catholic was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Coolidge only posted a batting average of .154.
Seton Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Florence, their loss dropped their record down to 14-4.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Florence has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .489.
