Palmer scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They took a blow against the Service Cougars, falling 73-46. The Moose were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.

Service's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Karlierose Lealaisalanoa led the charge by putting up 22 points. That's the most points Lealaisalanoa has posted since back in February of 2024. Sialeia Silva was another key player, posting 17 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Palmer and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Service, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
