Holmes came out on top against Northeastern on Tuesday thanks in part to Ashton Stallings's efforts. Stallings scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Stallings' strong effort led Holmes over Northeastern and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Holmes is 7-2 against Northeastern going back to March of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
