The Prince of Peace Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Dallas Christian Chargers at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Prince of Peace posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. They put the hurt on All Saints Episcopal with a sharp 49-25 win. The victory was nothing new for Prince of Peace as they're now sitting on three straight.
Meanwhile, Dallas Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Shelton 66-17 at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-8.
Dallas Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chanel Jones out in front who scored six points along with ten assists and six steals. Jones has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Macie Perkins was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks.
Prince of Peace's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Dallas Christian, they pushed their record up to 10-6 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Prince of Peace opened the new year with a less-than-successful 57-47 defeat to Dallas Christian. Can Prince of Peace avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
