Baseball Recap: Madison Extends Winning Streak to Three

Madison barely beat Highland the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bobcats blew past the Rams 16-9 on Saturday. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Madison's third in a row) raised their record to 19-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Highland, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-9.

As of now, neither Madison nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
