Winston County put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 55-38 victory over the Cullman Christian Lions. While the Yellowjackets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Winston County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lynleigh Cobb led the charge by dropping a double-double on 16 points and 18 rebounds. Cobb is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Marli Stewart was another key player, putting up 17 points and eight rebounds.

Winston County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 30 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in four consecutive contests.

Winston County pushed their record up to 10-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Cullman Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
