The Legacy Academy Silverbacks had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.7 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They really took it to Menaul for the full four quarters, racking up a 44-12 victory on the road. The result was nothing new for Legacy Academy, who have now won five matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.
James Akins continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 138 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. Lorenzo Sedillo-Urban was another key contributor, throwing for 75 yards and two touchdowns.
Legacy Academy's win was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 7-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Menaul, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
Legacy Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Menaul is also done with their season.
