The Rich Rebels were the 45-20 winner over the Kemmerer Rangers when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Rich took a 39-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kemmerer on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that Rich has lost by exactly nine points.
Defeat or not, Rich got some senior leadership from Violett Taylor who scored 9 points along with 3 steals and Hannah Scott who scored 8 points along with 3 steals.
Rich now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Kemmerer, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rich will take on Cokeville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kemmerer will be home for the holidays to greet Rocky Mountain at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
