The Midfield Patriots posted their biggest victory yet this season on Saturday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 72-31 win over Southeastern. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-12.
Midfield found their leader in underclassman Aaron Adams-Martin, who scored 15 points. Adams-Martin has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Armonie Franklin, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Midfield is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Southeastern, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-14.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midfield will take on Childersburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southeastern will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West End at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
