A well-balanced attack led South Plaquemines over Fisher in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that South Plaquemines blew Fisher out of the water with a 78-45 final score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point South Plaquemines had established a 32 point advantage.
South Plaquemines' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kameron Stephenson, who scored 20 points. Stephenson is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Khi Ancar, who scored 18 points.
Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Houma Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. The match between them and Cohen wasn't particularly close, with Houma Christian falling 63-46.
South Plaquemines has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-16 record this season. As for Houma Christian, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-10.
