Tempe Prep had no answer to Noah Ruiz on Tuesday as he scored 20 points along with six assists and six steals. As if that's not impressive enough, the contest was his 11th in a row with two or more steals. This year, Ruiz has averaged 17.7 points, 4.2 steals, and 5.6 assists per match.
Ruiz and Chandler Prep will head out on the road to square off against Horizon Honors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ruiz hasn't had any trouble running up the score (he's averaged 17.7 per game this season), but it's looking like he'll have his work cut out for him against Horizon Honors' dominant defense.
