After flying high against the Hobbton Wildcats last Friday, the Rosewood Eagles came back down to earth. Rosewood suffered a tough 44-24 defeat at the hands of Union on Tuesday. Rosewood has not had much luck with Union recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Union's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ariyona Spearman, who scored 16 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Spearman has scored at least a third of Union's points. Another player making a difference was Zadariyah Faison, who scored 13 points.
Rosewood has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. As for Union, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

As for Union, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Duplin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Union is coming into the match with three straight wins at home, meaning North Duplin will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
