Kaplan are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Church Point on Friday at 7:00 PM. Kaplan will be hoping to build upon the 23-6 win they picked up against Church Point the last time they played.
Kaplan had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 18-7 win over Welsh.
Meanwhile, Church Point were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They took the contest and then some with a 54-14 victory last Friday over Abbeville. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-6.
Their wins bumped Church Point to 2-0 and Kaplan to 1-1. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Church Point and Kaplan clash.
