Gibsonburg found their leader in underclassman Reece Walby, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Walby has scored at least 25% of Gibsonburg's points. Another player making a difference was Jake Hall, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds.
St. Joseph Central Catholic now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Gibsonburg, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
St. Joseph Central Catholic will be home for the holidays to greet Hopewell-Loudon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopewell-Loudon is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Gibsonburg, they will challenge St. Mary Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
